The Last Human Photographer
By Sivaprakasam G · IN
In a future where artificial intelligence can create any image imaginable, the value of capturing a real moment becomes increasingly rare. The work depicts an elderly photographer in a futuristic city, surrounded by people experiencing AI-generated memories, while he quietly photographs a real sunset with an analogue camera. The contrast between the artificial world and the genuine moment represents the tension between technological perfection and human experience. The work asks whether a moment becomes less valuable when technology can recreate it perfectly, and whether authenticity itself may become humanity's most precious form of art.
