Six Leopards and a Tennis Player
By Assem Attoun · PS
“Six Leopards and a Tennis Player” is a surreal digital artwork that explores the impact of globalization on cultural identity. A tennis player is surrounded by six leopards within a shared space, where the figures become symbols of different cultures, forces, and identities that intersect, compete, and influence one another. The work reflects a world in which cultural boundaries are becoming increasingly blurred, while individual cultures may face the risk of being absorbed into a dominant global system. Through this unusual scene, the artwork explores the tension between global connection and the preservation of cultural uniqueness and identity.
