INSULAE

With INSULAE, I aim to explore the relationship between landscape, memory and abandonment through imagined island environments inspired by the Canary Islands. Combining photography and digitally constructed imagery, I bring together traditional rural structures and abandoned tourist developments, blurring the boundaries between reality and fiction. Through grainy black-and-white images, I seek to evoke fragmented memories and invite reflection on how tourism and the passage of time transform island landscapes and cultural identity.
