The Things I Did Not Teach You

By Joice Chilaule · MZ

“The Things I Did Not Teach You” is an experimental short story presented as an AI-generated biography of a Mozambican woman. Drawing on records, photographs, recordings, and digital traces, the machine attempts to reconstruct a human life while confronting the limits of what can actually be known from data. The story explores memory, absence, authorship, and the difference between recorded evidence and lived experience.
