Electric Folklore
By Usamiko · JP
“Electric Folklore” brings together familiar symbols of Japanese culture, ornamental surfaces, mechanical forms, and a contemporary human figure within a densely layered scene. The work explores how inherited imagery continues to transform as it passes through technology, fashion, popular culture, and personal interpretation. These elements are composed as a living environment where memory, festivity, machinery, and identity coexist.
