ZAGREB 1250 explores the transformation of existing visual information into a new abstract composition. Fragments of packaging, printed typography, barcodes and graphic elements are reorganized into an unfamiliar visual structure. Their original functions give way to new relationships between colour, texture, form and meaning. Created through FMC Compositor and subsequently refined by the artist, the work examines the creative dialogue between computational processes and human aesthetic judgment.
