AIRWAVES: Ripple Effects

AIRWAVES: Ripple Effects is an AI film, 3:44, completed in 2025, with no dialogue. It is the film inside my four-layer hybrid installation of the same name, which combines an AI film, a TouchDesigner interactive projection, a participatory blockchain layer, and a dynamic NFT core. AIRWAVES Ripple Effects is a short AI-generated film that weaves together global stories of extraction, displacement, and censorship. Stories often erased or reframed by the very systems responsible for them. It is the result of a multi-year process of archiving, collecting and curating a vast library of images, video, and audio materials gathered from digital platforms, public media, and personal documentation. This archive spans multiple geographies and lived experiences, especially from regions often left at the margins of dominant narratives. Its processing engine, PULSO, ingests media archives or streams and collector-submitted narratives. The system turns audiences into participants in the record itself. Made with Runway, Luma AI, Midjourney and Stable Audio, and edited in Adobe Premiere.
