Keep This One — 留下這一張
By Kuo Tsai ying · TW
When images can be generated endlessly, what makes one worth keeping? In a photographic archive, a conservator carefully repairs an imperfect family snapshot beneath a warm lamp, surrounded by immaculate staged portraits. The work locates human creativity in attention, memory, and the choice to care for something that cannot be replaced. Its warm foreground and shadowed archive direct the viewer toward the physical act of repair: meaning emerges from what we choose to preserve.
