Skyline Within

A figure bows over a phone, and the city of Kyiv lives inside the silhouette: apartment blocks, rooftops, satellite dishes, trees. Shot on 35mm film as a single in-camera double exposure, with no digital manipulation and no AI. We are used to saying that screens change who we are. Here the opposite question matters just as much: who is the person behind the screen, and what made them? A person is not only the content they consume, but also the streets, windows and neighbours that shaped them. In an age when images can be generated in seconds, this one could only be made by being in a specific place, at a specific time, with a real person.
