À DEUX SUR LE FIL

This painting explores the fragile nature of human connection. Two faces are linked by a thread, while a small figure balances on it between them. The work reflects the tension between closeness and distance, communication and silence, attachment and uncertainty. Part of my current body of work, Sur le fil (“On the Edge”), it speaks about the delicate bonds that connect us to one another. Entirely handmade, the painting uses acrylic, palette knives, scratches and fragmented marks. For me, being human means living through these unstable connections — needing others, risking imbalance, and continuing to move forward despite uncertainty.
