What I Carry Forward
By Cecilia Broman · SE
A woman sits at a wooden table in warm morning light. Classroom memories behind her show a teacher helping a child read, an alphabet sheet and children’s drawings. A continuous golden thread carries these experiences through her hand into a delicate network protecting sheets of information. Outside the window are trees, meadow and sea. The work explores a change of career in midlife: from helping children feel safe enough to learn to protecting information that people rely on. Beginning again does not mean discarding patience, care or trust. Those qualities become part of what holds the next chapter together.
