Sofia Bruno (Sonia Caianiello), 2026. Acrylic on canvas, 70 x 100 cm. From The Rebirth Saga. Tempyria embodies the Earth as a living, wounded female figure. Branches and roots extend through her hair and body; fractures in her skin echo the planet's damaged surface. The globe between her hands becomes a concentrated image of our relationship with the world: capable of care and renewal, yet exposed to pressure and destruction. Wound and rebirth coexist. Nature persists within the figure, turning her body into a living territory between destruction and regeneration. Her presence confronts the environmental regression that can accompany technological progress and asks us to take responsibility for what our choices do to the planet. Together with Lyra, the consciousness of technology, Tempyria forms a dialogue about humanity's power and obligations. The human contribution is the decision to turn an imagined archetype into a material painting whose meaning is shaped by hand, colour and lived concern for the Earth.
