Between Two Worlds

Between Two Worlds explores the meeting of two identities within a single face. Contrasting light and darkness, warm and cool colours, and expressive pastel marks create a tension between human presence and transformation. The work reflects on identity, perception and the boundary between the natural and the constructed. Created by hand in soft pastel, the image combines expressive portraiture with an experimental visual language.
