The sea got wet

In this digitally constructed scene, a paper boat carries an image of the sea across its folds, as though a representation had entered the world it imitates. The artificial waves cannot make the paper waterproof; fragility changes the meaning of perfection. A machine can produce the image of an ocean, but a person can decide what the image is meant to say. This is a digital artwork, not a photograph of a physical event.
