The Place Left Open

The city is still being drawn. Towers, transit lines and illuminated windows are complete, but one seat remains in pencil on bare paper. I chose to leave its occupant undescribed. The gap is not a rendering error; it is a place kept open for a person the system cannot predict. The work asks what a future city gains when someone decides that one space should remain unfinished.
