SPECTRUM-Interview

In my multimedia speculative narration project SPECTRUM, I deeply integrate original 3D modeling with artificial intelligence by using my own 3D models to train an AI to generate approximately 8,000 images of orchid-androids(during 2023), which form the visual and conceptual foundation for a speculative product line of marine, terrestrial, and aerial drones alongside AI-generated videos. Conceptually, the work constructs a post-anthropocene vision where human social order collapses and decision-making is delegated to acentered technical systems inspired by the decentralized symbiosis between orchids and mycelium (the Wood Wide Web). By adopting a machine perspective that entangles human and non-human entities, the project investigates how technical networks restructure power hierarchies and challenge anthropocentrism under ecological crisis, ultimately probing whether technological networks remain external tools or if we have already become operational nodes functioning within their vast, automated infrastructure.
