Is it really the mashine,or Is it the human
By Ola Ahmed · SD
This piece explores the relationship between human beings and machines, questioning whether technology itself is making our lives dull or whether we are gradually surrendering the very things that make life meaningful. From relying on machines to interpret our emotions to seeking ready-made answers instead of learning through effort and mistakes, we may be giving away more than we realize. We may ask machines to preserve our beautiful moments, only to become too busy preserving them to truly experience them. The intention is not to reject technology, but to question the boundaries between using a tool and becoming dependent on it. Machines can assist us, but they cannot replace our responsibility to understand ourselves, make our own choices, and participate fully in our lives. Ultimately, this work asks: if human beings created machines to serve them, at what point might they begin surrendering their own agency to them?
