El detonante inefable is a series of twelve tunnel books exploring the relationship between artist, artwork and viewer through an analogy with the photographic experience. The works begin with photographs from a journey through southern Argentina and transform them into layered, foldable devices. By unfolding, shifting and framing each piece, the viewer activates the work and recreates the act of taking a photograph, modifying framing, depth and focal distance.
