Proof Of Human
By J.L. Orango · CA
A working mother spends one ordinary day being repeatedly asked by digital systems to prove that she is human while schools, employers, banks, marketplaces, and phone companies measure her through attendance, response time, productivity, balances, and compliance. “Proof of Human” asks what remains irreducibly human when machines can verify identity but cannot measure care: the choices made under scarcity, the love embedded in invisible labour, and the judgment required to decide what matters when everything demands to matter.
