Versetzt shows two feet in extreme foreshortening. Their different scale and position create a bodily presence without revealing the figure as a whole. The larger foot pushes into the foreground while the second recedes into the pictorial space. The work is part of my ongoing series Anklänge II, in which the human body remains present while form, colour and space increasingly interact. Oil on canvas, 50 × 70 cm, 2026.
