Between Dreams and Stars
By Tomasz Wachowski · PL
While I was staying in hospital as a male patient, I met a young woman who became my friend. One day, while walking past her hospital bed, I noticed her lying there, almost asleep. With her permission, I took a photograph of her. That real moment became the inspiration for my artwork. I used her photograph as a reference and imagined her resting on a beautiful golden crescent moon, high above the clouds, surrounded by stars. I wanted to transform an ordinary moment in a hospital into a magical scene filled with peace, warmth and dreams. The young woman in this artwork is inspired by my real friend, and the scene is my own artistic vision brought to life with the help of artificial intelligence.
