The Plane of Focus

By Ryan Sael · ID

Everyone knows when a photo is blurry. Almost nobody has seen the exact plane where it turns sharp. Turn the focus ring and watch it move. Make focus tangible by opening a camera lens into its glass elements, focus rail, and image plane. A small diorama scene moves from soft to sharp as the user changes the focus distance. It's an interactive 3D website that explain how lens work.
