There
By Elena K · RU
“There” is a visual autobiography of an inner transition. It was born not from a desire to showcase the capabilities of neural networks, but from a need to give form to a state that words cannot describe: between the old and the new, between observation and action, between vulnerability and play. The two blue-green Sphinx cats are two facets of a single creative principle: one is the observer (the one gazing into the distance, lying in the hammock), the other is the explorer (the one moving, playing, sniffing). They complement each other like question and answer. The white petals are unfinished forms, raw material. They are everywhere because the world is only beginning. The fluid objects are thoughts or emotions that have not yet taken shape. The liminal space is their shared playground, a "clean slate" where they can create any rules. This is a story of transition from passive observation to active trust. You learn not just to look at your life, but to enter it and play with its fragments. The ending is about accepting play as an eternal state. My human contribution lies not in technical complexity but in the intuitive knowledge of symbols, in the ability to trust play and silence. Each of the twelve frames existed in my mind long before generation as a clear image: composition, perspective, lighting, atmosphere, the movement of the cats and petals. My task was not to "see what happens" but to convey this internal frame to the neural network as precisely as possible, using prompts that described specific visual parameters. I acted as a director and production designer: selecting, discarding, refining, until the generated image matched what I saw with my inner eye. The neural network became a tool, like a brush or a camera—not a source of inspiration, but a conduit for an already formed vision. The title “There” does not point to a specific place—it is a space within the viewer, which each person completes for themselves.
