If machines can create worlds, what remains of humanity?
By Valeria Kovalenko · UA
This work explores the boundary between human and machine in a world where technology is gradually gaining the ability not only to perform tasks, but also to create its own realities. The face is divided in two: one side preserves human features, emotions, and imperfection, while the other transforms into a mechanical system of metallic structures and digital energy. The beams of light emerging from the eyes symbolize knowledge, information, and creative power that no longer belong exclusively to humanity. The work raises a question: if machines learn to create, think, and shape new worlds, will human emotions, imagination, and the ability to feel remain what truly distinguishes us? Perhaps the future is not about the opposition between humans and technology, but about their coexistence and fusion.
