Paintings Born from the Sea

Paintings Born from the Sea is an animated audiovisual journey that began with a photograph I took during a day by the sea. Looking at the horizon, I imagined the sea as the boundless surface of the unconscious: a place from which my painted forms could emerge, dissolve and be born again. I transformed five of my original paintings into moving presences and composed them as a continuous, meditative flow through waves, light and depth. I directed the animations, rejected every generated sequence that interrupted the contemplative rhythm, and retained only movements able to preserve the material identity and emotional tension of the paintings. The soundtrack was developed through iterative AI prompting toward a slow yoga and Tai Chi-inspired atmosphere. The result is conceived as an intimate, holographic-feeling passage: not an escape from painting, but a journey inside it, where the sea becomes memory, breath and an image of the infinite.
