SULU: THE LAST GREEN
By Tansholpan · KZ
This is the story of a young woman living in a future world where everything has become artificial. People employ artificial intelligence in every sphere of life—in every home and every job, from the youngest child to the oldest senior. Yet, a young woman named Sulu yearns for a breath of fresh, cool, living air. She longs to see the world as it once was—a place of beauty where trees stood tall, birds sang, and the sound of a stream could be heard. She misses those times, even though she never lived through them; she learned of them only through books, images, and the stories of others. Then, one day, she discovers a sprout—a symbol of hope. It suggests that while AI has made our planet comfortable, we need the life-giving presence of plants. This discovery offers hope that we can use artificial intelligence to assist us, rather than to replace the essence of humanity and the natural world around us.
