Between Nature and Technology
By Nancy · TW
A Comparison Between Natural Grapes and Technology-Produced Grapes On one side of the girl, the background depicts nature in a realistic and lifelike way, where plump, fully ripened grapes are grown naturally. These grapes are suitable for human consumption and can be put to practical use, serving primarily to meet humanity’s basic nutritional needs and demand for food. On the other side, the background represents a world entirely shaped by technology, where grapes are produced through food technology rather than by nature. These technologically produced grapes contain absolutely no naturally derived ingredients or components. Perhaps they are not entirely without value, and perhaps they can still serve useful purposes in various ways, including applications beyond human consumption. However, despite their potential uses, they cannot fully meet humanity’s long-term needs for food as a reliable and sustainable source of nourishment.
