Washing Away the Weight
By Mzia Gostamashvili · IT
A man holds his own brain beneath a running tap, as if trying to wash away the weight carried by consciousness. The image becomes a metaphor for mental burden, information, memory and the desire to cleanse or reset the mind. The restrained monochrome setting isolates the gesture and gives the act an almost ritual quality. Water becomes a symbol of release, while the brain remains the visible weight that cannot simply be washed away.
