Every Morning at 8:17
By Pengtao Zhang · CN
Every Morning at 8:17 is a 92-second AI-assisted short about a small daily act of care between a father and daughter. A city seems to pause around an overlooked message, allowing attention, memory and human dignity to come forward. The film asks what remains distinctly human when images can be generated: the decision to notice, answer and care.
