God Is Still Waiting
By Akhmetzhanov Yernur · KZ
God Is Still Waiting explores the loss of human attention in a world of constant digital connection. A divine gesture reaches toward a person absorbed in a smartphone, turning an encounter inspired by Renaissance sacred painting into a reflection on contemporary life. For me, the title expresses patience rather than punishment. The possibility of connection remains, even when we fail to notice it. The work asks what we miss while looking at a screen, and whether we can return our attention to the life that is still waiting for us.
