Human After All: Why We Are Launching the ArtPrize

By Egbert van de Coevering · 25 June 2026

Why We Are Launching the ArtPrize: Creativity as Our Ultimate Statement

We believe unconditionally in the power of human empathy and creativity. The rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is changing our world at a staggering pace. Within the customer service industry, the impact is already massive. Venture capitalists are even shorting major traditional players in our sector. Fear dictates that robots will take over everything. We see things differently.

Having bots fully handle complex customer conversations autonomously will take some time. The real revolution is not about replacing humans, but about collaboration. We are launching this ArtPrize to prove that the ultimate symbiosis between human and machine leads to beautiful, new artifacts. AI is the tool, but the human mind remains the master.

The Power of Limitation

Everyone around the globe is invited to join this competition. We explicitly welcome creatives from less-equipped environments. We believe that true creativity thrives under limitations. You do not need an expensive studio or high-end hardware to move, surprise, or inspire. Your unique human perspective is the key.

AI Evaluates, Humans Decide

To reinforce our philosophy, we are introducing a unique judging process. Four AI judges will analyze the submissions and provide sharp feedback. However, AI will not make the final call. The ultimate winners will be chosen by a fully independent, human jury. Only a human can truly feel the soul of a piece of art.
